“Woke” is just the term they use now instead of “SJW” and “Political Correctness”
Oh, and “Common Decency”. It’s basically a replacement for Common Decency and Human Dignity.
It's like one day we woke up and "SJW" was erased from the dictionary and replaced with "woke".
I assume it's a rebrand, but it's a weird one. SJW was a weird insult because it just says "you fight for social justice and that's... bad somehow?" but woke is even weirder, especially when the same people call people sheeple and tell them to wake up.
Yeah. But as usual, nothing the right does makes any goddamn sense anyhow.
Conservatives use it as a stand-in for when they want to say a slur but know they can't because of social consequences, so they've pivoted to referring to anything relating to minorities as "woke".
