I created my account on this instance, but when I go to posts on other instances where downvoting should be enabled the downvote button still is missing. Is there a way to change this or do I have to create a new account on another instance?

Its just here (as far as I know). lemmy.ml has downvoting enabled.
I know this instance has downvoting disabled, but in the screenshot you can see I'm on a post from lemmy.ml and the downvote button is still hidden.
You can't downvote other instances content from Beehaw either.
That's a shame, I'll probably create a new account then.
Definitely understand it's not everyone's cup o tea. I actually sought out Beehaw because of that feature, along with a few more.
You could come do feddit.de, we have downvoting here :)
I'm not German though. I think I'll probably just create an account on the main instance.
