Nintendo squeezed Atari out of the market in the 80s and early 90s, Sony squeezed Sega out of the market in the late 90s. It happens in gaming.

Why, there needs to be a competitive edge to the market to keep companies on the ball. What incentive do they have to offer a better deal to customers all their rivals are banned from competing?
