Looking for new fresh ideas to defeat the parking barnacle so far the only possible solutions I have heard and thought about.

Method 1: turn on windshield defroster for 30minutes on max heat then slide a credit card shim under the suctions Method 2: wrap the whole barnacle in aluminum foil to block the GPS signal Method 3: jam the signal with a WiFi jammer although these are hard to come by especially in the us and don't recommend

Would that actually work especially with 1000lbs of force

Yes, If this uses a vacuum (suction cup) to hold on, it would probably still need some minor credit card shimming.

Other idea a very fine high tungsten music wire with handles like a garrote (it could additionally have 12V passed through it to make it very hot), then you 'slice' the device off

Sorry to move that post on you, I didn't see you had replied already. Search 'cutting foam with hot wire' about the 12v. The device might phone home as soon as it detects loss of vaccum in the suction cup.

It will but by the time someone comes your gone

third idea, a cheap cordless drill, drill into the back of each vacuum cup to break the seal and it will just drop off.

Just time consuming and has a built in alarm so it would be limited time to drill other suction

Its polycarbonate - should be about 20 seconds per hole.
