Yeah. Most of his power comes from his literal hundreds of billions of dollars of wealth, not the attention. Ignoring him will not suddenly make him a working-class bloke like everyone else.
But my question is how do schmucks like this get to be billionaires?!? Or do they just get this full of shit AFTER they get so rich?
Becoming a billionaire isn't a popularity contest. Generally it's through inheritance, and then being a ruthless sociopath who has no problem exploiting workers. In that sense, Musk is perfect for the "job".
