I'll go straight to the point:

  • Piracy is useful to bypass regional frontiers and access to censored content
  • Piracy is helpful to watch content without supporting it if you consider it not worth of it
  • Piracy might be helpful for content preservation and survival
  • Piracy is useful to ACTUALLY evaluate whether to spend money on some digital content or not
  • Piracy is sometimes the only way to actually own DRM-protected content

Piracy is bad for capitalists, it's great for humanity. It takes art and culture and the greatest fruits of human creativity and brings them to humanity irrespective of the cultural sickness that makes our people hold money in higher regard than freedom, happiness, and health.

Piracy is humanity at its best, stubbornly preserving and curating the artifacts of our culture despite the greed of the powerful and the malicious. It holds gems of memory in trust for us, so that we can remember times and contexts long passed as though we were still there.

The future will thank us.
