I pre-ordered Pikmin 4 after playing the demo. It wasn’t perfect, but it was really good.

I used the vouchers to get TOTK and Pikmin 4. My wife and I played the third one together and had a good time so we're looking forward to 4.

3 was awesome.

I’m playing 1 for the first time since I was a kid (I didn’t get far), and it holds up fairly well. The pikmin have horrible pathfinding, and the UI got stretched in the port, but it’s still a lot of fun.

I've been considering getting the ports too, but sometimes I have trouble getting into older games once I've been "spoiled" by newer ones. Nice to hear it holds up ok.

The biggest issues with Pikmin 1 are:

Pathfinding is really rough. My Pikmin keep getting stuck behind things or walking into water.
There is no lock-on to throw.
The 30 day time limit is a bit of a challenge. (However, you can restart from any day in the Wii and Switch versions, and Pikmin 2 doesn’t have a strict limit like Pikmin 1).
