My first read on this is to be pretty excited; the new dailies system looks interesting, more accessible skyscale will be good for newer players, etc.

Understandable, but I like the group aspect very much, coordinating with everyone in reaching a common goal. This can be achieved in chunks of dungeon content, doesn't have to be the size of MC ๐Ÿ˜„ but also in landscape content, in GW2 my experience has been, that everyone is minding their own business, only coming (and rushing) together to events (which are in itself still a great system). From my experience the GW2 combat does not promote the group aspect - in contrast it works against it with the turn away from the holy Trinity and pure focus to damage. This results in a dungeon rush mentality, which isn't very much for me. I am still a fan of tab target combat, no fan of the current implementations of action so much. For me the combat does not have to feel smooth, rather impactful and intricate with options to choose from. An action combat, that promotes holy Trinity by offering options to heal, tank and support would be great - much like tera was back in the day - but with the modern focus and fluent design - would be a dream come true.
