They had. Trump again. First term he got a great economy from Obama and put it in the hopper. He is going at it gain. Why are we surprised.
As surprised as when they decided to mess with FAA, if it's working one shouldn't mess with it.
I think it's important to note that any of the changes he made during the Potomac crash were very unlikely to have influenced the FAA that quickly and that the pathing there has been problematic for years - that is something that has been overdue for improvement.
That said, he's not making improvements with the FAA and likely increasing the chances for more danger.
Oh yes, granted it was only odd timing. And probably we're over-using airspace due to the all the private jet nonsense, which I don't think has a straightforward solution.
I mean, I'm assuming the Reagan incident was just understaffing. You can't fuck up an entire agency that quickly, even with Musk at the helm.
