Democrats will learn nothing from this.
Id go so far as to say they're paid good money to explicitly not learn from this.

Well I guess the good news is that it no longer matters if they learn anything? These election results make it clear that going forward they'll have about as much effect on lawmaking as a dead hamster. It's even possible that, except for serving as a convenient cardboard bogeyman, they'll otherwise cease to exist at all.
