This sort of nonsense is the best reason to vote for the Democrat presidential & senatorial candidates, no matter how odious they are. Someone is going to nominate and confirm 3 or 4 Supreme Court justices in the next decade, and if we let that be the Republicans, we can look forward to a whole court full of Alitos.
I stopped to shiver at the thought of 9 Alitos on the bench, but then the thought occurred to me that the current makeup of the court's conservative majority is a perfect mirror of the American right-wing coalition:
The problem is there is so much shit it’s hard to stay focused on the big picture stuff like this.
Most people don’t think about this level, so the illegitimate sc has at least done a few good things by drawing the attention to an area that democrats have failed to for some time. A game is being played for control of the SC among other things and the federalists are quite close.
Really cannot afford for the SC to swing further right
