Love that americans are still worried about elections of all things as if anything other than organized violence will stop a capitalist government from committing genocide.

[–] Facebones@reddthat.com 14 points 6 months ago (1 children)

The #1 thing I've noticed this go round is how the best even the most dem pundits and supporters can come up with is "Yeah Biden does it but Trump will do it worse"

[–] underisk@lemmy.ml 13 points 6 months ago* (last edited 6 months ago) (3 children)

I’m not even convinced that’s true when it comes to this issue. Trump, at least, narcissistically cares about what people think of him enough that he could maybe be swayed by public opinion. Biden has been a hardline Zionist his entire career and sees backing Israel to the hilt despite the public outcry as a moral imperative.

Besides, how do you get worse than eagerly aiding a genocide?

[–] Fidel_Cashflow@lemmy.ml 8 points 6 months ago* (last edited 6 months ago)

when Trump was in office, liberals at least pretended to care. They took COVID somewhat seriously, masked up out of spite, they paid lip service to the BLM protests. These past 4 years they've truly gone back to brunch. maybe if ol' Mango Mussolini gets back in, they'll pretend to give a shit again.

[–] aStonedSanta@lemm.ee 5 points 6 months ago (1 children)

Yeah. I don’t know Trump would help this situation at all but it wouldn’t be this bullshit. That’s for sure. And I want to be very clear I do not and did not want a president trump.

[–] WamGams@lemmy.ca 5 points 6 months ago (1 children)

Ttumo has explicitly said he thinks Israel needs to finish the job.

Jesus Christ, inform yourself before you say shit like this.

[–] aStonedSanta@lemm.ee 4 points 6 months ago (1 children)

Trump says a lot doesn’t mean him or his party would be doing the same if they were in this role lol.

[–] WamGams@lemmy.ca 5 points 6 months ago (1 children)

If you want to believe that Ttunp is lying to you about his feelings towards Palestinians, than there is nothing I can say to change your mind.

That is pure uninformed lunacy and you absolutely know better.

[–] melpomenesclevage@lemm.ee 0 points 6 months ago (1 children)

I think he wouldn't be as good at it, and there would be more public outrage.

[–] WamGams@lemmy.ca 2 points 6 months ago (1 children)

So... You think the path to ending the genocide is get Trump elected and continue complaining and just hope it goes well?

Eagerly aiding a genocide while also doing one at home, but you know biden wouldn't stop it if the fascists just did one, so he's not really better than trump OK that either.

At least if trump tries to genocide me, he'll be using poorly primed hierarchal power and you'll get a lot of mutinies. Like, a non-trump fasch genocide is blood in the streets, and I'm so fucking shit at that, so my odds are like 10% and its definitely a bad time. If trump orders it, There's a 50/50 chance the local air force base mutinies and flips on him because poverty draft, and I either get s hellfire missile or I don't.

[–] melpomenesclevage@lemm.ee 2 points 6 months ago

Sufficiently grand disorganized violence or sufficiently organized property destruction could also work.

[–] WamGams@lemmy.ca 1 points 6 months ago (2 children)

I think all of us need to be keeping a list of accounts such as this one, advocating our websites users commit violence against the US government.

This person is explicitly a terrorist, a government agent, an idiot, or a combination of all 3.

Name and shame.

[–] bloodfart@lemmy.ml 15 points 6 months ago (1 children)

lol at this wannabe cop bootlicker

Hey, you gonna file a report with your local intelligence branch about people on the internet mad at their governments?

[–] WamGams@lemmy.ca 1 points 6 months ago (1 children)

If somebody accuses you of being a cop, maybe don't start acting like a child and then immediately call them a cop.

It just makes you look uncreative, on top of the other shortcoming previously mentioned.

[–] bloodfart@lemmy.ml 10 points 6 months ago (1 children)

I’m not that guy.

You should definitely tell the police that people on the internet are making you feel bad though, call 911 asap!

[–] WamGams@lemmy.ca 1 points 6 months ago (2 children)

What are the chances two completely separate not the same guys could stumble into the same conversation and be that obtuse?

Fairly high!

Best of luck to you in your future endeavors.

[–] bloodfart@lemmy.ml 7 points 6 months ago (1 children)

Wait, don’t give up on trying to convince people to document and rat on each other so easy!

Come on, how else are the spooks gonna know who to target if we don’t form a circular firing squad?

[–] WamGams@lemmy.ca 1 points 6 months ago (1 children)

The fact that you are so desperate to act to maliciously towards somebody who isn't the least bit affected or interested is kind of sad, don't you think?

Naming and shaming malicious accounts calling for violence publicly is just good Lemmy civic duty. You having an issue with that and depicting it as something it isn't says everything we need to know about you.

[–] bloodfart@lemmy.ml 6 points 6 months ago (1 children)

Well, when you talk about taking notes on users and turning them in to the authorities as civic duty I definitely don’t think you’re a cop!

[–] WamGams@lemmy.ca 1 points 6 months ago (1 children)

It must be nice to just make up conversations and argue against those! Was it Sartre who had a relevant quote here?

[–] bloodfart@lemmy.ml 6 points 6 months ago (1 children)

@WamGams@lemmy.ca in their own words:

I think all of us need to be keeping a list of accounts such as this one, advocating our websites users commit violence against the US government.

Naming and shaming malicious accounts calling for violence publicly is just good Lemmy civic duty.

Last time i checked but there is a maintained fediblock list.

So by your logic we are all cops for being on instances which partake in fediblock. Good to know.

Maybe go find an instance that is pro terrorism and harass people there?

[–] bloodfart@lemmy.ml 5 points 6 months ago* (last edited 6 months ago) (1 children)

What fediblock is for:

an offensive instance, even if it has been posted about (a lot) before (just maybe check if the last 5 posts under the hashtag are not already about that instance)

an instance (currently) spamming (maybe indicate, that a limit is better, than a suspend in this case)

a general useful tip about fighting spam or trolls or whatever (think about whether it doesn't fit better under #FediBlockMeta)

recommendations to unblock an instance that is e.g. no longer spamming

Fediblock isn’t so you can sic the authorities on people who say stuff you don’t like, cop.

[–] WamGams@lemmy.ca 1 points 6 months ago (1 children)

You keep mentioning the authorities. Who are these peer to peer distributed network police you think is compiling these lists for us?

Do you think I am one of them? Are they in the room with you?

We could have had a productive conversation about why you think that users behavior is okay and why we shouldn't be keeping a list of known malicious users, but instead you just wanted to waste both our time with thoughtless drivel.

[–] bloodfart@lemmy.ml 5 points 6 months ago (1 children)

I’m not the one saying users should maintain lists of people who advocate for direct action against governments, you are. You said they should be named and shamed. That is how you turn people in to the cops.

There aren’t special fediverse cops, the same intelligence services that have ruined lives and persecuted leftists and minorities for decades are the ones who will be investigating user curated lists of terrorists.

You’re the most assetest person I’ve ever seen. You’re like if chatgpt was told to try to convince people to gather intelligence for the nsa. They should surround you with solar panels and harvest infinite energy from your hyper intense glowing. You should flee to a theater after your next post.

Literally log off forever, cop. 👮‍♂️ 🐷🐽🐖

[–] WamGams@lemmy.ca 1 points 6 months ago (1 children)

For people on the right, when they exhibit a dangerous mix of delusions and pompousness, I generally suggest psychiatry. Of course, they never can go through it, always for one of two reasons: psychiatry is either too gay, or too Jewish, obviously.

But you are telling me you are a leftist, so I wouldn't think either of those two excuses apply to you.

[–] bloodfart@lemmy.ml 5 points 6 months ago (1 children)

Just log off. Make a new account. Your covers blown.

You’re gonna have to use a little more finesse next time to convince people to compile lists of undesirables and turn them in.

Go back to infiltration training. Maybe reread simple field sabotage.

[–] WamGams@lemmy.ca 1 points 6 months ago

You are as much a bore as you are a paranoic.

For some, the discourse of leftism truly is just making accusations against others. Again, best of luck to you.

[–] Fidel_Cashflow@lemmy.ml 6 points 6 months ago (1 children)

I have a million alt accounts and they're all inside your walls

[–] WamGams@lemmy.ca 1 points 6 months ago

Well, hey, if there is only 55,000 Lemmy users and you're certain I am not one of you, than congrats, there is now two people here.

[–] Fidel_Cashflow@lemmy.ml 14 points 6 months ago (1 children)

report me to the House Un-American Activities Committee you McCarthyist loser

[–] WamGams@lemmy.ca 1 points 6 months ago (1 children)

I didn't realize not calling for terrorism on the open web made ma McCarthyite. Somebody just watched Good Night, and Good Luck in AP History, huh?

[–] Fidel_Cashflow@lemmy.ml 9 points 6 months ago* (last edited 6 months ago) (1 children)

"those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable."

"Omg wtf JFK is a terrorist???" - you, apparently

[–] WamGams@lemmy.ca 1 points 6 months ago (1 children)

Except you are calling out for an Oswald here, not a JFK.

The sad thing is there might be somebody here stupid enough to fall for it. Doubtful, but maybe God is on your side tonight.

[–] Fidel_Cashflow@lemmy.ml 9 points 6 months ago* (last edited 6 months ago) (1 children)

Lee Harvey Oswald was a single man, the poster you're whining about is calling for mass organized action (that means with lots of coordinated people). Try to keep up, you're making yourself look like a clown here.

[–] WamGams@lemmy.ca 1 points 6 months ago

Well Lee Harvey Oswald wasn't stupid enough to advertise his violent rhetoricon open forums prior.

So ironically, I would probably find Oswald more credible than the person you are currently defending.
