Not sure if you’re into trekking pole tents, but the Gossamer Gear “The One” can be set up with the poles in sort of a ‘V’ shape, leaving a bit overhang on both sides. I’ve sat through light rains with one of the panels on the front door rolled up with no issues.
I usually zip up the front door fully in rain so that wind doesn’t blow rain into my tent but if you were smart about the direction you set up the tent, you could probably mitigate this a bit. I wouldn’t leave the doors open in any major storms though.
I don’t have experience with “The Two” but I believe it’s a similar setup if you’re in need of something larger - I’m a fairly large dude though and The One is enough for me.
Thanks for the recommendation. I was hoping to find something with a bit more of an overhang, but that might work for what I'm thinking of.
