Is it a good time for a newbie to jump into the game once the update gets officially released to stable? I remember trying it years ago, like in 2020, but wasn't really a fan of the overall feel of the game, felt janky+grindy at every step (and this is coming from someone who enjoys project zomboid).
Yep, it's always a good time to jump into the game tbh because they refresh the game every so often.
It's still super janky and i don't think that's changing anytime soon. Performance is not great and the visuals are rough, but it can be fun if you manage to get past all those issues.
Performance and visuals are fine for me. Running on a 3080 fine.
I'll agree with others, but I still keep coming back to the game over the past howevermany years. I'm excited to try A21 I'm the next few days with my buddy. I find it best to play with friends instead of alone. Speaking of, if you want/need someone to play with I'm sure many in here would be willing. Including myself (depending on the time as I have a baby incoming).
