The switch is $250, the OLED is $300. I should’ve said $250, fair enough.
However it is absolutely ridiculous to say it’s a switch lite. Pretty much everybody now has a USB-C dongle, which the steam deck can use in most cases. It’s not like Nintendo where you need their proprietary dock. The only thing I can’t do is pop the controls off of the actual system. A switch lite can’t even be docked.
Most people also have one wireless video game controller, definitely a mouse and keyboard.
it's really weird to me that you keep including "things people already have" as if they didn't have to already buy those things with money in order to have them
Ok so now we need to list TV's? Internet? Electricity? Jfc.
no because those things are very obviously common to both
Ok you need to pay $60/yr to play online with switch. Let's factor that in real quick lol
And yes it is reasonable to assume anyone buying a steamdeck has a M+K
nobody i know who has a switch wants to play online with it, but sure
i'm not sure why having a mouse and keyboard is relevant
M+K = control system when docked. It's very relevant.
Anecdotal and irrelevant because the service exists and is used by millions. Nobody debating between a steamdeck and a switch is planning for it to be offline play all the time.
you want me to plug my keyboard and mouse into the deck so i can sit within arms reach of the TV to play?
defeats the purpose, I'd say
this is literally every bit as anecdotal
I have to believe you're just trolling at this point. I'm done man. Feel free to have the last word, I'm sure it's very important to you.
I congratulate you on your attempt, but I honestly don't know how you lasted this long because holy fuck did it look like you're trying to argue with a particularly dim houseplant
You've never heard of or owned wireless peripherals? We're not in the 90's.
FYI there is a $20 plan. I'm on your side here, but gotta get facts right.
