[Question] Maintaining Brand New Watch (alien.top)

Morning All

My son was recently born this so I decided to pick him up a watch for his 18th birthday. Ended up with a gold plated Tag F1 as there was a good deal available for it. The fact there was a deal was the only reason I did this now.

How on earth do I maintain this Tag F1 for 18 years?? It is currently fully boxed up with all padding and covers etc in place. I just want to make sure I give it to him in good working order. Haven't had to think about this with my other watches as I rotate what I have and wear them regularly.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

The fact that it's a Tag may help you...known for longevity and resistance. It should be still fine when you give it to him
