Morning All

My son was recently born this so I decided to pick him up a watch for his 18th birthday. Ended up with a gold plated Tag F1 as there was a good deal available for it. The fact there was a deal was the only reason I did this now.

How on earth do I maintain this Tag F1 for 18 years?? It is currently fully boxed up with all padding and covers etc in place. I just want to make sure I give it to him in good working order. Haven't had to think about this with my other watches as I rotate what I have and wear them regularly.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Congrats! I think it will be fine as long as it isn't being thrown around. When the time comes to give it to him, you should go to a watch shop to give it a check-up and set it to the correct time. Otherwise, buy a watch winder and store it in there. Another option is to ask a professional in a watch shop.

Hope this helps!
