Jezero Crater, Mars is pictured here carved into eastern red cedar. What part of the solar system would you like to see carved? Made by me @ [woodgrainterrain.com]

I'm assuming you carve it using geo data? have you thought about doing parts of venus? There is some pretty detailed scans of the surface with radar.

Correct on the geo data. I've not carved Venus as if yet. If you know where some quality DEM, GEOTIF or STL files of Venus could be had, I'd love to know. There are fantastic Mars and Moon resources; there are models of the Galilean moons and even Pluto, but the quality is not great.

https://photojournal.jpl.nasa.gov/mission/Magellan don't know how well you can use that, but it's raw data. Someone might be able to turn it into a 3d file but not me, I have no coding knowledge

edit: this might be more what you are looking for https://astrogeology.usgs.gov/search/map/Venus/Magellan/Venus_Magellan_LeftLook_mosaic_global_75m

Thanks for taking the time to post these links. A global mosaic at 75 meter resolution is pretty low quality. In comparison, most of Mars has 10 meter resolution available, and the absolute best models of Earth are 1 meter. There just isn't enough info in the 75 meter scans to make very good carvings.
