Good day everyone,

I would like to ask to provide some opinion on a problem I faced. The second hand acts weirdly and I have no idea why. I kindly ask for help.

The problem: sometimes the second hand of the watch starts running anomaly: stops, goes step forwards and step backwards. Slowly craws to next step. And then it starts working normally.

Shortly: by clicking the link you will get to a website with the video. It’s only about 50MB so it will take couple of seconds to look at.

Longly: I recently bought this watch on an online auction. Runs well and battery recently replaced. Seller represents the watch store located 2h drive from me. Many reviews, 100% positive.

As soon as I receive the watch, I mentioned that it goes slow. Too slow, especially for quartz watch. Like it looses 20-30 minutes in 4-6 hour range.

I once looked at the watch and captured the behaviour like on the video. The second hand randomly stops, goes backwards for a second. After some time it returns to normal conditions and runs smoothly.

I send the seller back the watch without refund, as we decided that he will bring it to the master.

After a few days seller claims the watch runs good and he sees no problem. That’s how he explains that weird behaviour: “maybe the vibrations from the post”.

What shall I do in this case? Shall I insist on refund or is there any reason of this temporary weird behaviour?

The watch is defective, so it would be easiest to simply return it for a refund.

You were damn god right. The seller informed me the watch stopped completely. Thanks for a correct advice!
