I am looking for what i call my "in between" watch. That being between my scratched up Casio digital beater and my "nice" watch.(Rolex GMT circa 2006). I am looking at the newer Citizen Promaster series, but in the last few years they are putting the crowns at 4:00. I don't think I will like it there.

Does the crown at 4:00 offer any advantages over 3:00? Does it dig into your wrist? I guess I can get used to the look of it, I was just wondering what other Redditors experiences are.

The crown is positioned at 4:00 so that it doesn’t dig into your wrist, like it could at 3:00. The 4:00 position offers better protection for the crown.
