I've been using a mesh chair for years, and I'll never go back. Love it. I'd recommend going to an office supply store if you have one locally, and sitting in a few. They have wildly different arch support and neck support and whatnot from chair to chair; buying one sight unseen might not be good if you're getting back pain from your current one.
Definitely this. I did this because im very long in the upper body so a chair has to be extra tall. Go to a store and sit in them
