Do you buy and keep all of your watches? Do you have a one and done collection or maybe you’re like me and feel like three is the magic number. Would be fun to start a thread and see the reasoning behind everyone’s watch purchases 😁
Personally I feel like three is the perfect (and somewhat reasonable) watch collection size for me since it covers all aspects of my life:
Nomos Orion 35mm - This is my mon-fri office watch
Omega SMPc 300m - My weekend / going out watch.
Casio A168 - My work from home and traveling watch.
my collection philosophy is to try not to buy any more.
a significant amount of the watches i own are not ones i purchased myself, but watches that originally belonged to my father, my brother and i think one of them was my great grandfathers watch.
i don't want to buy any more because i don't need any more, i see something that i like, i buy it, and i end up not wearing it after a while, then i see something new that i like, and the cycle continues.
