The dial is definitely the main event here. Every dial is hand made and unique, produced by applying multiple layers of lacquer over silver leaf followed by oven firing (similar to enamel), then carefully hand polished to an incredible sheen. Size is quintessential modern dress watch (38x46.5mm), and sapphire is beautifully domed, almost perfectly integrated with the bezel.

For me, this is one of the very few watches from a mainstream brand that offers more bang for buck than most micros.

Beautiful, for a moment I thought it was seiko presage

Reasonable! I have my share of seikos but I think this one beats out just about anything from Seiko <$1k

It really does 💪💪

I have this and a Seiko Presage Sharp Edged (sub 1k). Finishing, bracelet, clasp, is better on the Seiko. Dial is equally mesmerizing on both, movement is superior on the Citizen.

Is it the Ti or steel version? I have the titanium SARX055, tough to compare Ti vs steel finishing but bracelet is definitely considerably better on the SARX than the standard NB1050.

But the NB1060 doesn’t come on bracelet so that’s also not really comparable
