Very upsetting what just happened on Bourke Street
I'm shook. Hope the injured recover and the lost soul's close ones find peace.
The culprit can fucking rot
Once upon a time it was safe to walk or take the tram around the city. Not any more. It's so sad.
This feels like a little bit of a leap.
Nah Pilko I can tell you now as a a 46 year old who has frequented the city their whole life it is getting worse.
Yeah nah, 90's were worse
I don't think so. I remember people nodding off on trams and trains. I remember the hari kristners begging, the odd dero who's pissed himself, the drunks. I don't ever remember the violence that commuters are experiencing today.
I remember people getting glasses smashed on them outside y&j. I remember drunk cunts getting very fucking rapey around flinders. I remember a lot of queer bashings.
I get that and things weren't reported like they are now but I don't remember cunts wanted to start fights because they've been up for 4 days straight.
the issues are more frequent and moving out further into the suburbs
Ehhh i grew up in a bad neighborhood so ymmv
it's getting more and more dodgy inside the trams too
Exactly.
I saw the report on the Guardian. Awful.
