United Kingdom
General community for news/discussion in the UK.
Less serious posts should go in !casualuk@feddit.uk or !andfinally@feddit.uk
More serious politics should go in !uk_politics@feddit.uk.
Try not to spam the same link to multiple feddit.uk communities.
Pick the most appropriate, and put it there.
Posts should be related to UK-centric news, and should be either a link to a reputable source, or a text post on this community.
Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.
If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread.
Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.
Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.

But where's the fun in that?
Sure! If you're a clown 🤡.
Why do you assume Banksy is one of those? We don't know who Banksy is.
True true. Maybe they are a multinational conglomerate? 😅
Grandma, what are these stencils for?!
Robert Del Naja (of Massive Attack) is Banksy. You're welcome.
I don't think Banksy wants me to know that info, so I'm going to take special care to not remember that info.
Just like I have no idea who dril is.
Fucking hell I hope this comment is a joke
If we don't know who a person is, how can we know what pronouns to use for that person?
I meant more the usage of "one of those" to describe a person
I used "one of those" to refer to two different pronouns. We don't know Bansky uses either and there are other options.
Oh fair, I read it as being very demeaning!
Well thanks for looking out. (serious)
Last time he had to take it all the way to the appeal court to get them to agree he had the rights to his own images.
I can understand not wanting to do that again.
