food has always seemed like the most likely venue for people to take deliberate climate change mitigation actions to me, because it's comparatively a low bar for entry, there's an established history of more-environmentally-friendly diets and foods to choose from, and it's always getting easier to eat less resource intensive foods. i'm not sure if that will spur people into further action beyond that, though.
