It does seems that they just made it nearly impossible to unlock the phone for the Chinese version of their phone: You need to be 'level 5' in their shitty forum. And from what I gathered this involves posting hundred or thousand of messages with a lot of likes.
I don't think it will take long before they pull the same kind of bullshit for the global version of the phone unless there is a general outcry.
I think something like alpine or void with a wayland based tiling window manager could be fun.
It's still in beta. From my experience it is way better than vanilla wine or even crossover but not as good as using parallel. Using it with whisky is very easy, Little to no technical knowledge needed. I use it to play rain world on a MacBook air M2 and i get fps that varies between 15 to 60. I am hoping future updates will make the performance more stable.
To be fair, the feature is still in beta.
