Free replays?! No way Quark authorized that.

Chinchillas have vertical slit pupils despite being small herbivorous rodents. There are definitely quite a few exceptions.

From what I’m seeing, much of this matches up with Mozilla’s political views and none of it is a surprise. Sounds like a “monster of the week” right wing piece.

From what I'm seeing in the Georgia Tech video and paper in the article, the materials might be able to let light through. Could this be a good idea for a coating on solar panels?

As @twistedtxb@lemmy.world said, not really. You can go to sub.rehab and import your subreddits, though! That’s how I found more communities.

I’ve found myself both reading books more and reading long form news more. Ending the endless scroll has done me some good!

I thought about killing Hitler, but a DTI agent named Fox stopped me before I could go.

Back in the 2000’s, I was decently involved in the tech world, especially privacy and following/using FOSS. I fell off in a major way as the strain of work and college took over and I just didn’t have the energy to devote to the cause and maintenance of my own resources. During the pandemic, I deleted my Facebook account as I watched friends and family become hateful. I stopped using Twitter as well and finally deleted it when the Musky Boy took over. Reddit was still a community I had trust in as it was relatively anonymous and the user experience was customizable so I could avoid the worst parts. With Reddit’s anti-user and especially anti-accessibility moves I woke up. Y’all at startrek.website gave me a safe starting point to the Fediverse, and I dove back into taking control of my computing experience. How has the upheaval of corporate social media changed your online life?

I’ve found myself switching to New because of the much smaller community size. I’d like to participate more than I have in other places. If I wasn’t doing that, I’d use Active to see what others are saying.

What a cool solution! No reverse gear needed.

Oh, that is surprisingly striking. I like it!

I’ve been joining all of them. I might pare down if I need to at some point, but I want to try to catch all the discussion on a topic.
