Installing .iso without USB/CD via Meshcommander on vPro boxes (lemmy.nocturnal.garden)
 

Figured this might be of interest for some homelabbers. For intel CPUs supporting vPro/AMT you can basically get KVM via MeshCommander (or a Fork like MeshMini). This also allows to mount a .iso file from your client like you would a USB stick via the MeshCommander Remote Desktop! So, once you have the remote access configured, you can completely reinstall your computers remotely as long as they are connected to the network.

One thing to notice is that the boxes need to have some DisplayPort output used to actually show something in Remote Desktop which kind of contradicts the whole setup. But there are DP dummy "cables" for exactly this purpose for 5-10bucks.

Generally spoken, the process is like this:

  • Set up MeshMini on some server you don't want to access with it (some spare raspi or the like)
  • Set up AMT/MEBx in the BIOS of the vPro box
  • Register box in MeshMini

I don't think so, but you can enable "mute boosts" on accounts that boost a lot to clean up your timeline a bit.

I think I've read about something like that a few years ago but I don't remember exactly. Was originally made for traffic accidents where you want to collect evidence against the other driver threatening you or similar, but should be exactly that.

Playing information ping pong. We sent them some issue with a lot of information and instead of actually investigating they often dragged on the whole thing by asking for details they should have themselves, taking hours-days to respond etc before they actually did something. We often had to escalate issues via our account manager.

This was all on enterprise support while I was working for a company that paid six figures each month for infrastructure in their data center.

Only know Ionos in DE but I can't recommend it, the support is pretty bad.

Im Artikel standen ja eher Beispiele wie "stattdessen Partei mit ähnlichem Kürzel zugeordnet". Denke bei Briefwahl ist zu spät=ungültig.

Aller Peinlichkeit des BSW zum trotz, 5000 Stimmen in eine Richtung ist schon doll, gerade wenn vorher klar war dass es knapp wird. Sowas darf nicht passieren und ist natürlich Wasser auf die Mühlen von Wagenknecht und co.

Thanks. Admittedly my whole stack is in ipv4 anyways, my ISP also only supports ipv4 for some reason and then I never bothered to get into v6 for my local stuff.
