I'm a lead software engineer at a specialty insurance company in the Midwest United States. Half my days are spent in meetings and the other half is spent either coding or working on documentation or making diagrams or thinking through decisions. I left last year and spent a year working remote for General Electric HealthCare, but left back in April to go back to this insurance company. I really like my coworkers and the general work environment. I'm on a hybrid schedule so I only go into the office about twice a week, and my commute is only about 20 minutes each way. I enjoy what I do but I don't put in anything beyond the 9 to 5. I work to live, not the other way around, and I have set boundaries so I can spend my time with my family.

I attempted to do this, but when I saved after clicking Enable 2FA no link appeared. When I go back into settings the checkbox is deselected.

I finally slapped a straight ally sticker on the back of my car. As a cis hetero male, I want LGBTQIA+ people in my community to know that they're seen and that they're safe and accepted where I'm at.

A couple come to mind for me:

And although not exactly obscure, I have fond memories of watching You Can't Do That On Television!, Eureka's Castle, and David the Gnome. It's been well over 35 years and I can still hear the Eureka's Castle theme in my head.
