Maybe I’m just not that online, but I think people believe all sorts of dumb things anyway. I think that for people that can be reasonable at all, which isn’t everyone, indifference is a harsher condemnation of dumb ideas than trying to hide them. I sought out the comments in question only after hearing they were banned.

I think this will just strengthen the hardcase conspiracists, and whatever platforms choose to continue to have him. I'm not sure that this really accomplishes anything, and may even be counter-productive.
I'm in the middle of yet another reread of Glen Cook's Black Company series, just finished the 2nd one. Decided to take a break from the series with something I don't normally read - mysteries. Reading Agatha Christie's first Poirot novel and having a great time.
I loved it! Haven't seen many people talk about it outside of whatever initial recommendation list I had heard it from. I really enjoyed the mix of hard sci-fi and socio-political commentary. Really reminiscent of Heinlein's best in that aspect, from what I recall.
Catching game yourself is a weird way to save on catering costs.
Finished Elden Ring today after bouncing off pretty hard upon initial release. Enjoyed it overall, but its specific type of open-world content delivery is just not my cup of tea, I think. Also, felt that it dragged in the last third.
Haven’t tried them yet, so I gotta put ‘em on the list! Thanks for the recommendation.
