@jsalvador @stux activitypub is cool, this is simultaneously a Lemmy and mastodon thread and I couldn't even tell lol

@CanadaPlus so are you expecting there to just be zero progress in the future? What do you think the fedi will look like in 10 years? And yes, there are foss tools to replicate all of gsuite. What a pessimistic view not even based in reality.
@CanadaPlus this is referring to far in the future. In the long scale of things, developer time is not so limited. Fedi doesn't necessarily have a time limit after all, it's just going to go stronger over time. I don't see a stopping point.
@Senseibu so has crime lol, doesn't mean it's good. There's also a reason it hasn't caught on. If you ignore the whole killing the planet thing, it's very inaccessible.
@cjerrington not sure from the Lemmy side of things, but I'm replying to your post from Mastodon right now
@Veritas portable identities and private profiles is a big difference that I'd like. I'd rather it be more content driven then people's posts driven.
Sorry I don't care about most of the posts on here. Would rather see highlights in communities, like the hot page on a subreddit. I'm not so much here for discussion unless it's under replying an interesting post/subject.
@stux @breakfastmtn Wonder why for some reason Lemmy spaces have a strange amount of whitespace under their comments when viewing from Mastodon.
