Heißt das du hast einen VPN Zugang in dein Home Netzwerk aber der Zugang ist über den VPS?
Würd ich auch gern machen wenn das so geht, hast du da Tipps für mich zum Recherchieren wie das geht?

Yeah, it probably works on an HDD as well, but load times will be awful. I think this gets blown out of proportion. These AAA games or any game which had to load assets or whatever which exceeded available memory always had issues with load times etc. on HDD. So asking users to run it on an SSD is quite sensible to me.
We should argue though if a size of 125GB is actually necessary... Looks like it's time to upgrade my M.2 SSDs from 500GB to 2TB at least 😅

Since they're locking Consoles to 30 fps I'm worried their Recommended settings are using that as baseline as well.

Thank you for putting all that time and work into building and maintaining the server and community. I think you've carved out a great place for yourselves here and I appreciate being part of it (in some way or another). I'd volunteer myself but unfortunately I can't help much with the technical issues and I'm very light on time for actual moderating duty, which I've also had to drop on Reddit. But I did set up a monthly donation to help with the costs of running this and I'll probably keep it running until I stop using Lemmy, which might be never.
Thanks for being honest and transparent and I can only emphasise that you guys have done a wonderful job so far. Take a well deserved break as soon as you can please.
My tactic of waiting a year until a newly released game is fully patched and grabbing it with a discount has yet to fail me.
Look into open source ZigBee bridges for home automation. A colleague of mine currently has a project going, which makes her Raspberry Pi act like a bridge and it talks to other home automation stuff via ZigBee.
Then you can use stuff like this to control the motor of the curtain.
Great thing is that you can handle your complete home automation like this, but it might be harder and expensive to setup than just using proprietary bridges and actors.
