I don't really know Black Sabbath music but this is great.

Of the 8,828 participating, 7116 are still currently dark according to: https://reddark.untone.uk/

I've been using that website to track for the past few days and it has been accurate. It has links and status of every subreddit. You can click on the link to easily confirm the status is accurate.

I thought California did this years ago?

https://help.doordash.com/dashers/s/california-dashers?language=en_US

Prop 22 went into effect on December 16, 2020. If you’re dashing in California, here’s a quick breakdown of how Prop 22 impacts your experience:

When you dash in California you earn at least 120% of minimum wage (based on the local minimum wage at the pick-up location) for active time on the platform (time spent on a delivery, starting from when you accept an offer to when you complete it), plus $0.34 per mile during active time, when driving a motor vehicle (for example, a car, motorcycle, motor scooter).

Keep in mind:

Guaranteed earnings are just a minimum.

If you earn more than this, you always keep the entire amount.

Tips don’t count toward your guaranteed earnings. >

I'm about halfway through Mass Effect Legendary Edition and I'm loving it. Plays great.

I think the tech itself is amazing but this is not a product for me, regardless of price. All VR headsets give me that uncomfortable dystopian vibe for some reason. This one cranks up the feeling significantly.

Maybe I'll feel different someday when I'm retired? That's not to suggest I have some super exciting day-to-day reality now, but for whatever reason, just the thought of VR at this point in my life makes me feel uneasy.

Wow you aren't kidding. I just sorted by controversial on a couple of blackout posts. It's both disappointing and fascinating to see how short sighted some people are.

Thanks for the post. I love the overall goals of Beehaw and I'm excited to be along for the journey.

I was a digg user for many years before that exodus. I left digg altogether a while before it's fall and moved to reddit where I found some very friendly communities. I think there are still a lot of kind and respectful and helpful subreddits, but they are mostly pretty small or niche. Things tend to trend away from that as they get more popular, which is a super bummer. And if subreddits don't grow enough, they tend to eventually get overrun with memes and shit posts.

Here's to hoping Beehaw can grow and continue to be friendly and reasonably moderated. Cheers
