I think he was quite clear lol

I think I’m gonna become a weed farmer then. Better life, better mindset and the music will sound fire.

I’m doing a special version of my baccalauréat where I do both the French exam, and the A Levels

I didn’t watch the whole thing… as the amazing J Cole Says « Nothing New Under The Sun »

Buy a tiny house, put all my music stuff in it, invite some friends and make some synthwave.

Then, boot up Linux, contribute to open-source and reach the highest level of masteries of the C programming language arcanes.

At night, buy good groceries from the store to make super good food and then DM my roleplaying game campaign for my friends and go to bed after a full filling day of meaningful work.

Then try to visit the world, meet people, make friends, talk do stuff and repeat.

I want to work, but work on meaningful stuff.

I’m in the french high school system which are very long working days (which is normal) on uninteresting things with teachers that hate teaching, and classmates with endearing stories but questionable sex lives of which they talk way too much.

In all this shallowness, I have no energy when I get back at home, after doing my shitty math homework, to even boot up my laptop to work on my coding project.

It’s constantly fighting your mind that tells you that there’s more to life, that you should not waste your time with such a poor experience.

But you don’t have self-determination, you just have the responsibilities of going there, putting down a smile, and get fingered for good grades to go to a shitty engineering school teaching Java from 2008 and then work at a shit ass computing job where you’re the genius computer guy installing Adobe Reader on everyone’s PC.

I went to Malawi during 2-weeks for faring in an eco-lodge and I remember that in the contact of new people & nature I felt better than ever, I feel like it’s not my mind but more of the accumulation of shitty stuff everyday.

I’m actually in the situation you lived through, I’m in the french high school system, last year with exams. School has always been hard for me, fighting my mind, being harassed, I’ve come to hate it, I’d be better off on wikipedia learning stuff by myself.

But everyday I’m forced to go to experience the shallowness of people, teachers & educators. I have no energy to do anything but… consume content on my phone to not think about my shitty situation.

And right now, I’m so fed up this existence of student, trapped in the petulent academic system that I can even focus anymore. I can’t think, I can’t write, I can’t remember.

I love making music, I love coding & contributing to open-source, I love writing/DMing tabletop roleplaying games & stories, I love reading fantasy & philosophy (mainly) books, I love to grow gourmet shrooms, I love meeting interesting people, urban exploration

I love the world and what it has to offer, I can not participate in it… I’m stuck in this shitty situation

This is not something I want to do but it’s so comforting to see something genuine without any gender rules / constraints.

If a game hypes a lot of people up, it will be verified. That’s like, the most important factor… not even the performance, the controls, etc…

As seen in the title, Baldur’s Gate 3 is the perfect example of this: running at 20FPS with constant dips and my Steam Deck on the verge of exploding isn’t what I call “a game flawlessly running on the Steam Deck…”

Just try to be honest guys, it’s okay if the game is badly rated for compatibility with the Steam Deck, it’s not a big deal if it’s too demanding to run on the handled.

But DON’T BE MISLEADING

Thanks :))

EDIT: Not tested on the most recent major update. The big one with many changes to the flow of the game.

Hey! My mom recently decided to cancel her subscription to Netflix as she didn’t to give money to corporations and heard about how I got everything I needed online through Torrenting.

I decided to make a little surprise for her and make her the most convenient TV setup she can easily use!

It’s hard because I’m a tech-savvy guy and I just watch everything with VLC/mpv after getting it on qBitTorrent. For her convenience as she knows little about piracy, I don’t want to force her to look for the ideal torrents, and the language/subtitles.

(☞゚ヮ゚)☞ Here’s my idea: the ideal Streamio + + Torrentio + Trakt on an Android TV.

I just need to know about some things:

  • Your recommended Stemio add-ons to make her life easier. I need to read this list (GitHub’s awesome-stremio)
  • If she doesn’t find the show in French in the list, how to make it super easy to get the right subtitles from OpenSubtitles?
  • We have a Mi Stick as an Android TV and the experience has been very bad, It’s tiny & laggy, I shouldn’t have bought this for her.
  • That’s why I want to know your experience with Nvidia Shield and which model should I get for a snappy experience?

If you have any other advices, please do enlighten me !! -noctis

… the founding ideas are promising, and something I dream of.

Before I start, just a little bit of background on me so you can understand how biased I am (😅): I’m a 16 years old programmer and I won a few crypto hackathon/funding rounds and I made a lot of friends in the field. It allowed me to get quite a bit of ETH/XMR along the way!

I see cryptocurrencies getting a lot of hate, rightly so for the number of scams, shitcoins, NFTs bullshit, “governance”, DAOs and all those often useless & snob terms.

However the founding ideas of decentralisation and freedom with your money are very appealing to me. Smart contracts are really interesting for creating your own banking operation and tokens can represent anything! It’s a world of possibilities to play with, and you get to build something useful for people!

I’d just like to add a bit of nuance tho: I see a lot of apps being built and what’s really making me laugh is the lack of open-source, decentralisation and auditing on privacy. Granted, there is a lot of fake promises, but it’s like everything, you have to find the talented people to follow.

I find it fascinating to build unstoppable, decentralised, user-first apps. I just hope that web3 stays true to its founding principles.

Hope it was interesting, tell me what you think!

EDIT: title+typos+the game is not comfortably played in Act 2
