Total Score option not doing anything? (self.memmy)

This may be an iOS 17 issue, so I want to mention up front that I'm running the latest beta. For some reason, the option to turn off the total score for posts doesn't seem to be doing anything. Regardless of whether the option is turned on or off, I can see the upvote and downvote count for posts separately.

On a somewhat related note, should questions like this be posted here, or should I create an issue post on GitHub?

Can't enable push notifications on beehaw.org account (self.memmy)

When I try and turn on push notifications, I'm met with the spinning "wheel" that sits there indefinitely. Any ideas how to get this working?

I believe I read a while ago that beehaw defederated from lemmy.world. I'm new to the fediverse, so I'm still trying to understand exactly what that means. Is it still possible to subscribe to a lemmy.world community from my beehaw account? There are a couple of iOS Lemmy apps that have their official community on lemmy.world, and I'd really like to be able to subscribe to them.
