This guy is objectively terrible.

I understand the change of direction for DC, but he’s very heavy handed with trying to shave costs.

Been enjoying a new crop from Costa Rica that I had come in a month ago. Been getting great plum and raspberry flavor from the shots. I'm still getting the roast parameters right but the experimenting is fun.

Wow. I kinda expected the Celtics to sign him to one more offer. Dudes a Celtic through and through.

Also honorable mention but a thin carbon steel wok is my most used carbon steel outside the crepe pan.

Found mine at Marshall’s for like $10. It’s been to hell and back and was fairly easy to blue and season

I got the 11 7/8 one as well as the 9 1/2 crepe pan. The crepe pan lives on my stove. Then 11 is really nice but so heavy and cumbersome that I don’t use it much. It’s also incredibly hard to season well.

I have two matfers that I like a lot.

I really wish I could get over his cadence in videos. The recipes look good, but I can’t stand his way of talking.

I wager they don’t have a recovery vessel because they have people sign contracts only allowing arbitration.

Which means they gross $750,000 per 8 hour trip. They should have a recovery vessel at those prices.

No talk of passengers, so at the very least one person is missing, but up to 5. Also they have no other submersible that can reach that depth. From an insurance stance, that sounds like a massive liability risk to undertake, not to mention it’s just unwise.

Finally. I’m happy to see them moving from the subreddit. It wasn’t terrible, but a forum will be better I think in the long run.
