There was a stray firefly at my house one night. Like, singular. We're not even near their habitat, so I don't know what's up with that.

Quite nice. Just started off my semester break, so currently planning on how to pass the time (I'll probably waste it ;-;). Also did subject registration for the next semester online, still as chaotic as I remembered.

Long wait time for mpv to load video (discuss.tchncs.de)
 

The web interface freezes often for me, so I usually use mpv like mpv https://spacepub.space/w/7XEaaDCywRALEbT64Q758T, but it takes around 1-3 minutes for mpv to actually load the video. Is there a way for me to reduce this long wait time?
