"Methane produced by food decomposing in landfills makes up 1.6% of all human-made Greenhouse Gas emissions. While that may not sound like much, it’s a large percentage for such a specific pollutant. When scientists look at hyper-specific categories, Karl says, anything over 1% is significant.

“Any action that can prevent food waste from sitting in untreated piles will directly lead to climate impacts being reduced.”"

For example, with T-mobile, I can register my credit card, and if I use that credit card at any of the participating outlets, I can earn cashback. Similarly, if I register a non-Bilt credit card with Bilt, then I can earn Bilt points on 'eligible spend'. How are they able to access my credit card transactions? and are they getting access to only the participating outlets, or all of my transactions? and what do they gain by doing these schemes other than increasing their brand value?

Just curious if the defaults are safe enough or privacy focused enough.

I found articles referring to https://twitodon.com/, but it seems the site is down?

Yep, I meant a replacement slide in and was hoping there was a standard for these things. Makes sense to get a power strip. Thanks for the response!

I got it with https://sabrent.com/collections/hard-drive-accessories/products/ec-ch2b. But since I bought it in EU, it has that charger. Is there no alternative other than buying a whole new charger?

Highly recommend Vimium in particular. Avoids repeat movements of switching between keyboard and mouse.

Not sure if turning down an invitation to discuss is a good thing. You can always say no to the proposals after you have listened to them. Participate in discussions, but don't co-operate with them.

These days, there is also choco for people who want to install apps via the terminal like apt install or brew install

Thanks for this. At first, I couldn't figure out how to see threads only from my subscriptions.
