I’m not familiar with the eos ix. If it’s a different gauge film it would be a matter of sourcing it and then finding out if your local photo shop processes it or learn to develop it yourself. A-1 is still pretty popular these days. I have an ae1 I use time to time. FD lenses are still being used in mirrorless world so can be easy to find in second hand market.

Enjoy! Film photography isn’t just for the hipsters. It’s hella fun and the purest form of the craft itself. Just expensive..

It’s a damn shame if that toxicity is permeating through Lemmy. Once I really feel no difference between here and reddit on that front, I’d rather go back to reddit unfortunately.

I went back this week because I noticed narwhal 2 finally came out. I loved narwhal and we waited such a long time for the new app to come out. Outside of using Reddit in search engine results, I looked around with the new app. And people are so mean and rude on Reddit I forgot how toxic it can get there. Made me really appreciate lemmy.

Narwhal 2 will eventually need to start charging. It was nice to finally get a glimpse of it because it goes paid.

When I type on the keyboard I often always type F at the end and immediately backspace. I don’t understand why I do it and I can’t stop doing it.

I forgot how insanely chunky the original Xbox controller was. You must have big hands to want to use it again.

I barely even check protondb anymore. I just assume everything works these days it’s awesome.

This is very occasionally popping up in restaurants in Australia. Whether you live here or travelling. Do not tip unless they did something incredible. I’m talking the fish brought your grandma back to life and the chef reconnected you with your long lost father. We don’t want to encourage tipping culture. We want to increase minimum wage. It’s like $23 now and we need that to keep growing with the economy.

I would be so pissed but then find it so funny if I was the artist that came second.

Also just love they had to remind people it was based on popularity knowing there’ll be backlash.

There’s a small YouTube channel I watch of a this dude longboard around London. It’s amazing how pedestrian and skate friendly it is. They’d be doing some proper long term damage if this kind of thinking gets through. With Brexit the Brits might be in for a decade more of rolling back civilisation.

Fry’s reading of Harry Potter is one of my favourite pieces of media of all time. And I’m not a Harry Potter fan. He’s an absolute master. I’m in. Thanks!
