Hacked?

First I've heard of 12ft.io. Cool little site to bypass pay walls.
This story is really amazing. Imagine the moment when the kids were found.
I know the Lemmy.ml server is really strained right now. But I think that's just a visual glitch because if its showing posts on your feed then you are subscribed.
But, now I see what you are saying about .world vs .ml. The link goes to post on asklemmy@lemmy.ml hosted on the .world instance. I hadnt even realized we could jam 3 separate instances into one single post lol.
Oh, wow lol I didn't realize that it either. That's my fault for giving a weird link. But it's really just the one instance at a time.
The original link goes to lemmy.world/c/asklemmy@lemmy.ml, which is a copy of asklemmy hosted at lemmy.world.
We have our own copy of asklemmy hosted here at sh.itjust.works/c/asklemmy@lemmy.ml
I know you already understand that but just to explain for others following this thread.
I haven't had to wait more than a few minutes for subscriptions to load for me, not sure what's going on with that
We're talking lemmy. But can you recommend any good kbin magazines? I just made an account on kbin like 10 minutes ago.
It's also not letting me to reply to tinwhiskers. Guessing that's because of the issues with kbin and lemmy federation they've been having? Curious if he's able to reply to me also
Or subscribed if you want to include all the non-local communities.
Nice, good stuff
Maybe they will, maybe they won't. I definitely felt similarly to you for a while, but now I'm just kinda in a phase where I'm seeing the downsides too.
I worry about the mental health of a society that spends more time on a headset than face to face with other human beings. It's already really bad just with smartphones. VR is gonna be even more problematic, people are going to literally get addicted to VR and lose track of reality and go insane. Or at least I could see that outcome as a possibility.
Let me know if you have any questions. Lord knows I was confused at first, but it really helps to have a buddy bring you up to speed. And then you can pass that knowledge on to the next batch of newcomers.
Welcome aboard and thank you for your service, SenatorBumCuckets 🫡
People on all those other cool platforms can spread the word about them. I'm just on Lemmy for now so that's what I know about.
Smh, people really can't behave.
