I'm looking for a good place in the fediverse to discuss pc/pc parts sales (in the USA). Similar to buildapcsales on Reddit.

Also more generally, is there a good resource keeping track of equivalent communities that are popping up? I think that could be very useful.

I recently got into that game quite a bit. Playing it on steam. Just the other day I discovered I can board pirate ships and kill the crew to claim the ship as my own. That has been a significant power boost for me and really unlocked the game.

Even before that I was having fun trying to survive with limited power while still exploring the world

Factorio is one that adds absolutely tons of content through mods. Some change the game pretty significantly too

About to get started with NixOS in c/operating_systems

I've been looking into immutable OS and Nix as well for a little while now. I haven't reached a tipping point where I want it enough to spend the time on it.

It is very exciting to see development of distros go in that direction.
