Awesome to see this getting some media coverage. I hope the writers strike ends in time for Oliver to be able to do a segment on his show about all this.

Hello!
I put the Lemmy web app shortcut where my Rif app used to be on my phone, so my muscle memory from always opening up rif has me going to lemmy instead. I've barely been looking at reddit at all and really enjoying seeing these lemmy communities grow. Once rif is gone I don't plan to use reddit at all (aside from the occasional specific Google search for "specific question reddit") and I don't think I'll miss it.
I was about halfway through Tears of the Kingdom, but then the Miyoo Minu Plus I had ordered a month ago was delivered and I spent the rest of the weekend playing Wario Land 2 and Super Mario Land 2. Nice blasts from the past and I really love the miyoo hardware.
Piracy can be pretty convenient too. There are some services that are a kind of a hassle to set up, but work really well once everything is configured. You can have one docker container running qbittorrent and set up so it's only able to access the Internet through VPN, other containers running sonarr/radarr etc to automate the downloading, and one runing plex to organize and stream all the content.
I subscribe to several streaming services because the people who work on and create this content deserve to be paid, but often will watch something on my plex server rather than through the streaming site because it's just more convenient. Also it's nice to have local copies of that media in case it ever gets removed from the streamer in the future.
What's the Lego community called? I haven't been able to find one searching.
Enjoy! Glad you're liking your Deck it's really an awesome device. I would highly recommend using the wishlist feature on Steam. Add any games in here that sound good to your wishlist, and you'll get notifications from Steam when those games go on sale. There are pretty frequent sales outside of the big ones too so if you can only get a few games on the upcoming sale, don't worry because another one will be here soon enough.
Just earlier this year one company got FDA approval for one specific type of cultured meat. So there are regulatory hurdles and there is the issue of producing enough of it at scale at a reasonable price. But there has been progress in the field and we could see more products in stores in the next couple years. I really hope a big transition to cultured meat and dairy happens because I think it would have an enormous impact on carbon emissions and water use from agriculture.
I love the look of the miyoo devices, I'm waiting on shipping for the Plus and am pretty excited to play with it.
I love my steam deck and have emudeck and a bunch of Roms on it, but have been spending more time getting through my backlog of more recent games on Steam than I have emulating lately. Didn't know modded BotW was possible though, what mods do you run on it?
What plug ins are you using?
It was overall an encouraging election in Colorado last year, in addition to decriminalizing psilocybin we also approved a free school lunch program and a parental leave program. I hope we keep on trending in this direction.
