We don’t need to recreate Reddit. Lemmy will revolutionize that idea of communities and make it a nicer place.

Yea I feel like after spending the day on Lemmy.world I'd like to see where this goes. I think if one thing is true reddit created a genre of a "central" place to go to connect with one another over random stuff with anonymous access.

I think lemmy will have a bright future, it certainly scratches that connectivity itch that most of the nerds on these types of site have.

  • Heimdall
  • Home Assistant
  • Plex
  • Nginx Proxy Manager - ram hog
  • Adguard
  • NodeRed
  • ZWaveJS
  • Zigbee2Mqtt
  • Portainer
  • qBittorent
  • Ring-MQTT

Running on a minisofurm mini pc with 5600h, paid $219 and used spare drives and ram lying around. Used to run 2 raspberry pi 4s but retired those due to updating home assistant via docker getting really old. Proxmox handles things great, like the flexibility and performance boost too, especially just pulling docker images lol, unarchiving was so painful on pi 4.

I also had to remove it from the Home Screen. The lemmy iOS app in TestFlight Mlem is actually pretty good.
