I noticed that if my post has a '&' character, during an edit operation, all characters AFTER the '&' are not recalled during the edit.

For example, if I have a post like

Specifically this is shown

test

And the things I see & hear are

great
big

When I edit this, I only see

Specifically this is shown

test
test

And the things I see &

To go around this, I had to copy the text of my post, edit and paste over everything. Perhaps it has something to do with a list after the & sign. Not sure if anyone else has this issue as well

I'm a reddit refugee and after looking at lemmy instances to join for a week, I've settled on this because I like the admin policies and self regulation of content. Thank you for setting this up for everyone.
