The system doesn’t make much sense if some servers are better than others, but make the same.
I blame the bad example set for new drivers by the Fast and Furious movies as well as a generation of kids with no common sense in real world scenarios to the point that they don’t know how to cross a street.
Seems like a great way to spy on their customers even more and prevent homebrew apps that don’t have their paid seal of approval.
I definitely prefer lemmy. The apps keep getting better. It will match the Reddit experience soon. Mlem is progressing rapidly and looks to hopefully get onto the App Store sometime after July. It is being designed to resemble Apollo in many ways.
This happened to my coworker with his son. They found out their phone numbers and spoofed calls and texts. It was a pretty traumatic experience for him. They told the son that they had the father hostage and that they would kill him if he attempted to respond to his texts and calls and told the father the opposite and asked for ransom. Hoping these scammers get taken down.
The article doesn’t say anywhere that they can get promotions. It seems to indicate that all servers are $30/hr and that no other levels exist to ascend to.
