Unfortunately here in Italy there's a lot of push back every time some food innovation is on the horizon. GMOs, insects, cultivated meat... In an attempt to save traditional products, we give up on these opportunities without even trying.

We'll see what will be the effect on our economy, but for sure we're losing on the climate side.

Finally managed to finish a Brass: Birmingham game, split over two evenings, totaling something like 6 hours (official play time: 1-2 hours). Hope it gets quicker next time ๐Ÿ™ƒ

To be fair to the game, a couple of players were quite uncooperative (or outright disrespectful) on this matter: taking 30 minutes for the first rail era action, chatting when it's your turn...

The game itself is fun!

We player Brass: Birmingham for the first time. It's very promising, but by the time we finished the canal era it was almost midnight and we decided to stop there. It took us 3 hours to read the rules and play an half game ;)

Looking forward to play it to the end next time!

They make really nice, <10 min videos on the topic.
