I don't personally feel rdr2 was padded, but it was really damn long lol. I loved it but am not complaining at the idea of this being shorter

It really is awesome! And that's a good idea for mapping the rooms I'll definitely try that out. Yeah bug hunter is cool! I completed 1 job before moving on but I def want to do the 3 that give you the gold for that game at some point.

Damn haha that's definitely a way to do it. I am playing them in order, but some I am putting off beating until later. Barbuta I definitely want to come back to but I was getting frustrated. I think the snake like one that has garden in the title was the first one I beat. I think out of the first 25 I've beaten 6 or so?

Also I saw this tip online. You may want to start pilot quest soon, as it is kind of an idle game, and you can accrue resources while the game is off or playing the other games. It's nice to pop to between other games to see whats built up and spend resources to get more idle stuff going

More or less. It's like action 52 but good.

It also has a whole fake narrative tied to it. The collection is 50 games released by the company "UFO Soft," a fake game company. Each game has little blurbs on its history. Some games have multiple entries to their series, some are one off. Others are "spiritual successors" to others. It's a whole little universe in the game. And even though not every game so far has been for me, they are all at the least creative and interesting. And some games I absolutely adore and want to play through to the end asap. I've only just touched the 25th game and have ~ 15 hours. And I know some will take me a long time. There are also secrets to find outside of the 50 games. The menu has a terminal and you can find hidden codes that give God modes to games, and some provide hidden lore of the universe this game company exists in

Gotta agree on UFO 50. It's an absolutely stellar game. I've mostly dropped plucky squire in favor of it, although I do want to at least finish it

Fair warning. If you are looking at the piboy by experimental pi, their website has been mostly down for months now. They seem to have abandoned the project :(

At the time, PT was the scariest thing I'd ever played. Was super obsessed with that demo.

Will never get over silent hills cancelation

I have a bit of an obsession with handheld systems. I've always been on the lookout for cool handhelds. Probably started with some leapfrog devices I had when I was a kid.

Some of the more interesting ones include a piboy. A raspberry pi 4 stuffed into a gameboy dmg like shell to emulate games. More recently I've been very into my analogue Pocket. I play a ton of stuff on that as it can accurately recreate a ton of older systems. I'm also quite interested in getting a playdate at some point, but have yet to justify it.

I also have some modded GBC and GBA systems. With USB c charging and nicer screens

Whatcha been playing! I've been camping all week so I really haven't been playing anything! Aside from a few crosswords here and there :)

Been a frequent visitor of this site for many years. Sad news but I'm happy the content isn't gone forever

Whatcha all playing?

I've been playing Crow country! It's pretty awesome. I love the vibes and gameplay. I think the puzzles are a little too simple for my liking, but it's well worth a play. Also been playing more hitman 3 freelancer mode which has been an absolute blast

Happy late thread day! Yesterday I participated in a relay triathlon and was way too pooped to do the thread, sorry!

Anyway I finished another game! This time chants of senaar. This game is sooooo good. One of my faves all time id say. Scratches the obra dinn outer wilds itch. Highly recommend. Also started some DRG survivor and gnorp apologue. Both are pretty fun!
