You'll get lost and die a lot, maybe even take a break for a while then come back to it. But that's the best part

HoS better story and villain, BaW better gameplay and setting.

HoS has my favorite villain of all time with a really interesting story, while BaW felt like a whole new game. Hard to say which one is objectively better.

I've heard of mastodon before but never really got into it since I wasn't a fan of the idea of twitter. I've always like the idea of reddit so I've signed up on lemmy and kbin and wait to see which one I prefer, so this will be my first time in the fediverse. So far I like the idea but currently not fully on board with it because of a few issues I have with its functionality, but that could just be due to the heavy load all the instances are dealing with.

I created both a kbin and lemmy account to see which one I like better but so far I like the UI of lemmy a little better. I find kbin annoying that I can't easily see my subscribed magazines easily and the mobile web UI is even worse in that I couldn't find a way to create an account on it initially or navigate anywhere I'd expect to go. Also while I like the idea of the fediverse, right now I'm not liking that while all instances and other fediverse implementations can all interact with each other, I don't like that they all take a while to sync up and see each others comments on other instances right away, it takes some time (although I suppose it could be due to the mass influx of new users). I'm optimistic that it will grow in the near future given the mass migration, so time will tell

I was never really into the idea of twitter and I really only lurk on a couple of people's twitter accounts but the idea of reddit is good for me because I can find a community of people who like similar things as me easily and see what's been popular. It's also a decent news feed on the side.

I'm currently on mac because I have always and will always despise windows, but now that mac's gone to ARM (which don't get me wrong they run amazingly) its pretty bad for games. Ideally I'd have a work computer on mac and a linux desktop. I'd say just go for linux as majority of games should work fine on it but I'd check each game case by case.
