Why does Lemmy only have one frontend? in c/programming

Well someone has to put in the work. It’s definitely possible to change the UI and have instances with their own UIs.

And actually, there is already an alternative frontend: wefwef.app It’s not it’s own instance but you can use it with any other instance.

Hm. Danke für die Antwort. Bei mir hat das leider nicht funktioniert. Ich hab !huntshowdown@lemmy.world sowohl direkt bei der Community Suche und einmal auf browse.feddit.de gesucht aber leider nicht gefunden.

Als ich einen neuen Account hier auf Feddit eingerichtet habe ist mir aufgefallen, dass manche Communities nicht verfügbar sind. (Bspw. Communities wie !huntshowdown aber auch viele andere.)

Werden einzelne Communities geblockt? Wenn ja, kann man irgendwo sehen wieso? Die lemmy.world Instanz ist ja wohl nicht geblockt. Viele andere Communities erscheinen hier ja.
